Pilsner Urquell Draught

Pilsner Urquell fount

Pilsner Urquell has a richness and complexity in both flavour and body. In 2007 Pilsner Urquell was awarded 93/100  -the highest score awarded to a pilsner- and received the following accolade “Pilsner Urquell is a taste and quality benchmark for the imported lager category” by the Beverage Testing Institute.

Fount options
The new Czech Authentic Style Pilsner Urquell fount delivers unquestionable quality and greatly improves brand visibility at point-of-purchase. Pilsner Urquell Perfect Pour

Perfect pour-step 1

• Pilsner Urquell should be served at between 6 -7°C
• Always use a clean, cool Pilsner Urquell branded glass

Hold the glass at 45 degrees angle. Fully open the tap and pour the beer slowly onto the side of the glass

Perfect pour-step 2

When the beer level reaches the lip of the glass close the tap. Straighten the glass and put the tap slightly above the surface of the beer

Perfect pour-step 3

Top off the beer with the creamy head by pushing back on the tap lever to activate the creamer

Perfect pour-step 4

The perfectly poured Pilsner Urquell head should be 35mm high from the brim of the glass down. The head should be creamy and dense with no large visible bubbles in the foam.

Note: the thicker foam head protects the beer and maintains Pilsner Urquell’s unique flavour.
