Supporting communities 

We want to have a positive impact on the communities in which we operate. As well as ad hoc gifts in kind to charitable causes, we also support both local and international charities with relevance to our business. We engage our employees in these activities as much as possible as it brings benefits not only to the charities that we support, but also to us as a business in terms of team building and stakeholder engagement.

Supporting Communities: Charity of the year 

Whilst we provide ad hoc gifts in kind to a range of charitable causes, our main focus is our partnership with our chosen Charity of the Year. Our Charity of the Year for 2012/13 is the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home (QAHH). The QAHH provides specialist nursing care and rehabilitation services to former members of HM Armed Forces with physical and/or neurological disabilities. Fundraising for South African communities

In addition to supporting our charity of the year, Miller Brands also supports the annual South African Charity Golf Day. Miller Brands is a company with a proud South African Heritage and we are pleased to be the lead sponsor. The purpose of the day is to raise funds for South African charities with the accent on HIVAids, children and education. All provide programs in one or more of these areas within the many cultures, creeds and traditions of the people in South Africa.
