After a quick drive to the office I start my day with a healthy breakfast down in the canteen. I try to resist temptation and usually have either fruit or a smoothie. Back at my desk I run through my ” to do” list, and have a quick read of emails to ensure that I respond to any urgent queries. This is an essential part of my role as we often get ad-hoc insight requests from the sales and marketing departments that we need to prioritise.

Rigorous insights are key to our business and support the company’s strategic and tactical decision making.
I work on several reports that we issue to the business on a regular basis.

This requires a lot of input from all the insights team and preparing these reports can be a busy time during which I often go and find a quiet corner in the office to work.

Sometimes I’ll have quick catch up meetings in the atrium about a previous insight request – to go through the  data and answer any further queries.

Whilst there I never miss the opportunity to get a nice cup of tea to energise myself!  At the end of the day my main task is to beat the traffic and get home on time!
